As a licensed medical aesthetician, there’s nothing Celeste Bullar loves more than helping people feel happy and confident in their own skin.
She joined SIH Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2019. She has 26 years of experience in the beauty industry, along with 17 years of experience as a medical aesthetician. Joining SIH was a great opportunity for her because of its commitment to providing innovative treatments in aesthetics and skincare.
She offers an extensive menu of more than 20 aesthetic services. When some patients call to make an appointment, they know exactly what they want, but for many patients who are just getting started or are curious to learn more — she offers a free consultation to help answer any questions and develop a treatment plan.
“I like to sit down with someone and create a journey together,” Bullar says. “This isn’t a one-and-done deal. I like to know what their skin concerns are and what they want to achieve. We come up with a plan together, which includes advice on how to take care of their skin when they aren’t at an appointment.”
What she likes best about being a medical aesthetician is the ability to perform medical-grade treatments that can help make visible changes in a person’s skin. For example, she’s able to use medical-grade acids and higher strength serums, which go deeper into the skin and create cellular changes. These types of products aren’t available at a salon or spa.
“It’s wonderful to see someone’s skin transform and to help someone feel better and more comfortable in their own skin,” Bullar says. “I’ve met so many great people in my career who are so special to me. I consider it both a blessing and a privilege to have found a career where I can help so many people feel great about themselves.”
